This Privacy Policy explains how HOOLUA Capital ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use hoolua.capital or submit a startup pitch. We process data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Slovenian law.
Who we are

Data we collect
- Pitch form data: project name, website, one-liner, your name and role, email, handles, stage, raise status, ticket size, deck link, traction notes, preferences, referral, and optional notes.
- Technical data: IP address, browser user agent, and submission time - used for security and abuse prevention.
- Email correspondence if you write pitch@hoolua.capital.
Why we process data
- To review submissions and respond about investment fit or introductions (pre-contract / legitimate steps toward a possible relationship, Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Legitimate interests in securing our site and preventing spam (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Legal obligations where applicable (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
Nothing on this website is an offer to sell or a solicitation to buy any security or token. Submitting a form does not create an investment relationship.
How long we keep data
Pitch submissions are kept for up to 36 months after the last meaningful interaction, unless a longer period is required for an active process or legal claim. You may ask us to delete earlier where the law allows.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We may share relevant pitch materials with co-investors or partners only when you have asked for introductions or it is needed to evaluate a fit - and we will treat that carefully. Hosting and mailbox providers act as processors under appropriate agreements. Transfers outside the EEA, if any, use suitable safeguards.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection where applicable. You may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia (IP RS) or your local supervisory authority.
Cookies and analytics
This site aims to run without non-essential tracking cookies. WordPress may set a session cookie if you log in to the admin. If we add analytics later, we will update this policy and seek consent where required.
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
Changes
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date above will change when we do.
